Jeyes Fluid - Original Cleaner

Jeyes fluid is a heritage household cleaning brand. The Jeyes metal tin is recognisable across generations.  

The proposal was a a fully recyclable lightweight plastic package encompassing the Jeyes brand. The package embodies a distinct visual language that can be extended across the Jeyes family range.

Brand

Jeyes Fluid have built a legacy on supplying good quality disinfectant products to millions.

Historical Brand

Jeyes Fluid ‘Original’ memorabilia have become sought after collectables, with an interesting range of items being sold and collected all over the world.

The Royal British Warrant

Jeyes was awarded the Royal Warrant from the British Royal Family in 1896 and has one of the longest standing warrants of all time.

Jeyes Family Range

Over time, the Jeyes brand has extended across a range of products from the original disinfectant product. There is a mix of packaging formats and styles across the range including metal, plastics and flexibles.

Outdoor Cleaner

The original Jeyes Fluid ‘Outdoor Cleaner’ product is currently packaged in a metal tin format.

Ideation

Exploratory sketches and design detailing for a new Jeyes Fluid ‘Outdoor Cleaner’ container, exploring the advantages of blow-moulded packaging features.

A new efficient blow moulded shape which builds in a softer, family aesthetic.

‘New-Style’ - Route B

A brand new ‘modernised’ identity exploring a new set of styling cues to create a dynamic and premium bottle shape.

C. ‘Traditional’

Taking design cues from the heritage bottle and iconic metal tin. A distinctive shape including added value features which extend brand identity, improve use and increase on-shelf appeal.
